Vive!aldi

Vive!Aldi is the fourth dance theatre project led by Chokri Ben Chikha together with brother Zouzou. Artistically, they seek a tension between different contrasting styles. Claus in a Maghrebian jacket and Shakespeare with an MTV pace, it can be done. After the platform of Spoor 10, the living room of Inch Allah and the Belgian coast of Bruine Suiker, they now bring us to ViveAldi. 

Vive!Aldi is a dance theatre performance in and about a supermarket where they want to beat all the competition. The text is based on their own (Aldi) experiences with nods to Hafid Bouazza, Shakespeare and Khalid Boudou. To the tones of the Four Seasons, they perform a clash between diverse dance styles.
