It is the surface, the Wikipedia level, the interconnection of stories and references, of flags and identities, of pornography and politics, that make AMNÈ(I)S(T)IA quite contemporary. While the performance's schematic structure is reminiscent of a school presentation, the light-hearted way in which a commercial media strategy is linked to trauma treatment is quite apt.
